Peter Schmidt

Peter and his family have been residents of the Tricities for a number of years.   He received his undergrad degree from Simon Fraser University and completed his law degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Peter has over 5 years of legal experience and has knowledge in Family, Civil and Criminal law.  He worked as a judge's clerk in New Westminster and has worked on a number of high profile criminal trials.   He has also completed the Canadian Securities Course and has obtained a certificate in International Business Law from Bucerius University in Hamburg, Germany.  In addition to his professional work, Peter volunteers his time coaching legal students through the University of British Columbia's Law Students Legal Advice Program and has written papers for various legal conferences.   Peter's personal passions include biking, hiking, and traveling, and he has lived and studied in New Zealand and Germany.
