Perry focuses on corporate & commercial law including business purchase and sale, start-ups and shareholder agreements. Perry has significant in-house legal experience and the business aspects of professional sports, media and entertainment. He was directly responsible for drafting corporate sponsorship contracts, license agreements, royalty agreements, trademark & intellectual property agreements, concert and event agreements, premium seating agreements and employment contracts. Perry also has extensive experience working with internal personnel, external counsel as well as the National Hockey League (NHL) and concert promoters on a variety of issues that inevitably arise in the world of sports, media and entertainment. Originally from Oliver, British Columbia, Perry graduated with a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria and Law degree from the University of Southampton (Southampton, UK). After returning to Canada, he worked in-house and completed his articles with a professional sports team and a national law firm. Perry is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association and Canada India Business Counsel. In his spare time, Perry continues to pursue his love of travel, has a passion for photography and enjoys different culinary experiences.
