Peter Schmidt, BA, LLB
Peter received an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University and completed his law degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Peter works primarily in the areas of Family, Civil and Criminal law. He worked as a judge's clerk at the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has worked on a number of high profile criminal trials. He has also completed the Canadian Securities Course and obtained a certificate in International Business Law from Bucerius University in Hamburg, Germany. In addition to his professional work, Peter has volunteered his time coaching law students through the University of British Columbia's Law Students Legal Advice Program, and has written a number of papers for legal conferences. Peter's personal passions include biking, hiking, and traveling, and he has lived and studied in New Zealand and Germany.
